Screwdriver Extension
Recently, I was trying to screw a storage cabinet in
place and ran into a small problem. There wasn’t enough room to get both
my hand and the screwdriver inside the cabinet opening at the same time.
Since I didn’t
have a long screwdriver with me, I rummaged through my toolbox for inspiration.
What I found was a socket that fit snug over the end of my screwdriver handle
(a twelve-point socket works best). Then I used my ratchet to tighten the screws,
as you can see in the drawing above.
