Corner Cabinet Support
Here's a simple trick that might make your work in the shop a little easier. Recently,
I was working on a corner cabinet and needed a way to support it while working
on the face frame. Rather than take a lot of time to build a cradle to hold the
cabinet, I just grabbed a few short clamps off the rack.
As you can see in the drawing at right, I tightened a clamp onto each side of
the case at both ends (I used four clamps) to form sturdy "legs." The clamps held
the case upright and steady and allowed me to complete the work on the face frame
without worry. |
